z/OS UNIX

The z/OS UNIX ecosystem consists of mulitple components, two of which I worked on.

Language Environment is the component of z/OS that provides a runtime environment for programs written in C, C++, COBOL, Fortran, & PL/I. I worked in development & technical support for this component.

zFS is the high performance UNIX file system for z/OS, developed to replace the existing HFS file system. I worked as part of the team that was updating the zFS prototype with the functionality necessary to be deliverable.
